My approach is grounded in a deep respect for each persons unique experiences and for the power of healing in relationship.

Qualifications and Experience

My core training took place at the renowned Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, earning a 1st class degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy (BSc Hons).

I have experience of working therapeutically with a wide range of people in multiple charitable and educational settings:

SHE-UK: Specialising in long-term therapeutic support for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and rape (2 years).

Nottingham Trent University: Short-term solution focussed counselling for students dealing with life transitions and issues relating to LGBTQ+, Identity, self-esteem, anxiety and exam pressure (1 year).

Amy Winehouse Foundation: Offering counselling and psychotherapy to young women who have survived trauma and adverse childhood experiences and are in recovery from addiction and disordered eating (1 year).

CASY: Counselling and support for children and young people in various mainstream and alternative provision schools, working with issues around self-harm, peer relationships, body image & bullying (2 years)

Whatever it is that brings you to counselling, I am here to support you in overcoming challenges, empower you towards more fulfilling relationships – both with yourself and others, and invite you to explore and express your whole self with care and curiosity.

My personal and professional experiences, and love for music inspired me to support the Amy Winehouse Foundation; volunteering at 'Amy's Place' - their recovery housing project for young women.

During my year at Amy’s Place, I had the opportunity to work closely with young women in recovery from addiction and eating disorders, to build therapeutic relationships in which residents could start to open up and explore their experiences, express and understand deeply held emotion, and work towards a deeper sense of self and place of healing.

I believe that together we can safely explore below the surface of these creative, yet destructive ways of coping and find new ways of being at a pace that feels right for you.
